Obviously I can care less about AVG but still want to get my OPS on. Thinking about dealing Uggla + Franklin (I've done pretty well in the league punting saves, I drafted Franklin mostly because he was slipping in the draft hard, got him in like the 19th) + SPs like Shields/Harden for a Big 3b/SP upgrade. Thoughts?

...there are some solid util bats on the FA list too so dealing an OF is an option

Real nice hitting team, I think you're right in your assessment. AVG will be a big drain, OPS will be real sweet. Your pitching isn't going to be as great as your hitting, but you should be able to manage. Not real crazy about some of your later/midrange starters as you probably know from reading the site. I like that upgrade if you can pull it off.

Agreed on the later SP's, my targets kept getting reached for and guys like Harden/Matsuzaka were slipping hard/made more sense than someone like Randy Wells. The nice thing is since they are so hit or miss I can be hodgepodging the waiver line hard the first month when half of them tweak their johnson rod and are out for 4 months. Thanks for the help! ..same team from up top, but I can cut Everth for a couple of SS options. I can't figure out who fits best though from this list..and since it's early i'm all about the up up upside:

Theriot
JJ Hardy
Ian Desmond
Peralta
or stick with Evercab

Theriot's batting .174 and hurting...Desmond's batting .235... Hardy's power and not speed like Everth... Same with Peralta... Not sure what you're looking for.
