I personally prefer H2H a lot more....I find with roto you can be out of some categories pretty early on and lose interest, especially if you're new to it.
12-team, 10x9 H2H, NS + H, OPS, etc.; 20 MLB, 8 MiLB keepers
Cx2: Swihart
1B/3B/CI: Votto/Arenado/Frazier
SS/2B/MI: Kinsler/Odor
LF/CF/RF/OFx2: Conforto/Trout/Bryant/Betts/Ozuna
UTILx2: Pujols
SP: Kluber, Hernandez, Greinke, Keuchel, Liriano, Heaney
RP: Britton/Miller
Minors: Wall (COL), Robles (WAS), Story (COL), Hanson (PIT), Verdugo (LAD), Olson (OAK), Tapia (COL), Reed (CIN)

I like H2H for hockey also. Especially if this is your 1st time playing fantasy hockey.
