The average per game output of the two sets of players involved in the trade break down as follows:
You give: .437 FG%/ .733 FT% / 1.5 3pt / 14.2 Pts / 7.5 Rbd / 4.0 ast / 1.2 stl / 0.9 blk / 2.2 tov
In return, you get: .442 FG% / .805 FT% / 3.1 3ptm / 14.3 pts / 4.9 rbd / 4.9 ast / 1.3 stl / 0.7 blk / 2.5 tov
If you want the per game totals of each set, just multiply each line above by three.
As you can see, if you went through with this deal, you would improve significantly in FT%, 3ptm and Ast while dropping off significantly in Rbd. Everything else would remain relatively similar. Are you targeting any specific stats? Are there any categories in which you can't afford to decline?
From that standpoint, I'd go through with the trade, especially because Salmons is due back before Camby and because Salmons can really only improve from his terrible play so far this season (he usually blooms after the All-Star Break anyway).
Hope that helps.
