There's chatter that Starlin Castro will be on the Cubs opening day roster. The Cubs don't have much precedent of doing things like this, but they just hired Rudy Jaramillo, the former Rangers hitting coach, the same guy who pushed Texas to push through Elvis Andrus ahead of schedule. And seeing that the Cubs don't have any money to go after another 2b/SS, it's a strong possibility that this will happen. Anyway, he stole 28 out of 39 bases in high A and AA ball last year, so there's that.

Hmm... Thanks for the heads up, but I haven't read any unbiased sites saying he'd be with the Cubs before midseason at the earliest.

Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.

I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Yeah, nor I... but the addition of Rudy Jaramillo and the payroll issues they have, piqued my interest. Depending on what they do to acquire another infielder, he's going to get a shot in Spring Training.

FYI -- The main reason the Cubs have him at AAA this season is to work with Iowa Cubs manager Ryne Sandberg on his defense. He'll be up this season, probably around June.

is he a better speed threat then Alcides Escobar? and would it be worth using a #1 waiver priority on the kid?
