Grey and co:

I've been holding onto Marshall for some time now in anticipation of a Chapman injury/demotion from closing duties. At this point, how safe would it be to drop Marshall?

Votto may not play today/tomorrow, and AJ Pierz has an off day today, so I'd like to stream someone in one of their spots tonight.

Drop Marshall, or take the loss in potential points from say, Barajas, LaHair or Arencibia tonight?

Thanks!

per Grey June 27 on the main site:
Aroldis Chapman – 1 IP, 0 ER, 3 Ks and the save. And it’s safe to drop Marshall again...

Yeah, I saw that...BUT, I feel like Chapman's job is only as safe as his next save, or blown save...

In the grand scheme of things, and taking everything into account- safe to drop Marshall or a better bet to hold onto him over a streamer for a day?

he won't lose his job over one more blown save...not saying his job is as safe as Kimbrels...but it's safe...for now and for a while...

...streaming is more fun...especially when it helps you win...so stream away

...catchers take days off all the time...I'd pick the next best pitching matchup as a streamer...if you can with your league setup...

...I probably wouldn't worry about streaming for A.J. but if you choose too...check out the players that are available and their matchups...

...Barajas...no
...J.P. maybe...facing no-name pitcher at home
...Lahair...probably not...has been cold...but did hit a homer vs. Hanson earlier in the season (when he was hot) in Chicago...plays in Atlanta tonight

look for a value pitcher on the wire...compare what Marshall could give you in points tonight (Ks...potential win?)
