With the news about Storens sore bicep, ur thoughts on how much of my $200 FA budget to throw at Clippard tonight.

Clippard is a great RP but I don't think he'll be saving many games this season. If you want to speculate he's worth a couple of bucks. That being said, if Storen's tests come back with bad news, he could be the best closer in baseball.

In talking about this with some fellow Nats fans we are not 100% convinced the closer gig automatically goes to Clippard. Clippard is awesome but if he is the closer it limits his innings. As good as he is as the set up guy you might not want to have him only come in for the 9th. They also have Lidge and Burnett. Just something to think about. Not saying Clippard wouldn't get the job but not sure its a slam dunk. As a Nats fan I just hope Storen is okay.

Yep. I was thinking about picking up Lidge but I don't know who I would drop. I am already sitting on Broxton and Addison Reed so I am sure whoever I drop will end up getting a closer job shortly thereafter.
