Will Ohman vs. Frank Mata

Postby Hebrew Hammer » Tue May 25, 2010 8:36 am

I could use a closer and both of these guys are availiable. Who should I drop??? Which should I pick up?

Juan Rivera, Gaby Sanchez, Kris Medlen, Fernando Rodney, Trevor Hoffman, Chris Perez, Matt Thornton...

I am currently starting both Rivera and Sanchez but one of those guys will head to the bench when Grandy returns and the other when Ethier returns.

It's a crapshoot at this point. Mata getting called up bodes well, but I think Ohman probably gets a chance first. I'll also bet that whoever gets the saves ends up being the closer for the foreseeable future. It's probably safe to drop Perez right now and then you can drop Gabby or Rivera once Grandy comes back this weekend to pick him up again. Cleveland has so few chances, I have a hard time seeing Wood not get them if he's converting.
