Coco Crisp or Carlos Gomez/ Should I give up on Yunel

Postby halpernj » Fri May 21, 2010 11:08 pm

My team's offense is struggling right now with players such as Bay, Lind, and Holliday not producing along with many others.

Here's my team:
C-Mauer
1B-Berkman
2B-Pedroia
3B-Michael Young
SS-Aviles
INF-Smoak
OF-Holliday
OF-Bay
OF-Lind
OF-Choo
UTIL-Rajai Davis
Bench-Branyan, Yunel Escobar

Then pitchers are Jered Weaver, Price, Pettitte, Millwood, Leake, Olson, Leblanc, Penny, Buchholz, K-rod, Valverde, Feliz, DL-De la Rosa, Street

Currently I am in third place of twelve but I fear that I will start to slip in the standings if my hitters dont start producing/I dont make any trades. It is a head to head league

Here's the scenerio/questions:
-currently dropping scott olson and picking up jeff francis
-when/if should i give up on some of my players and trade them (mauer, holliday, lind, bay, etc) ..pedroia and choo are carrying my team right now
-is it worth picking up crisp or gomez, what about milton bradley(hes good when not causing problems/being depressed)..so which one .. and should i drop rajai or yunel, what about smoak

and i said that i was dropping olson for jeff francis, but since my league is free agent bidding i have the opportunity to pick him up again. can you please rate the following pitchers in order (medlen, olson, francis, leblanc)

Don't give up on Mauer, Holliday or Lind. I'd see what I could get for Bay. I'd grab Bradley. Medlen, LeBlanc (at home), Francis, LeBlanc (away)...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
