You are given a lineup that has been collectively cold since the beginning of the season and you make them look like the NYY at home. How can I see a 9 IP 1 ER game from you IN Philly and then you give me this crapola?!? Go sit in the corner, Ricky, and don't come back until you show me how sorry you are.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.

i was getting ready to create a new post about Rick. I am officially worried. I have no stats to back this up, but his velocity looks WAY down. He doesn't generate many swings and misses. His strikeout numbers have been down. What the fuck?????? I expected a SOLID number 2 starter, and its looking like Brett Myers may be more productive this year.

Okay, I have him too, and he royally effed me. But this is an overreaction. His velocity was right up at 92-93 today, up from mid 80s it was his last time out. He even looked solid save for Alexei Ramirez's knocks. He will rebound... he had a lot of 2 strike counts as well that he got easy outs on, albeit not K's. Don't panic.

Yeah, I'm not trading him; him and Wandy are in the same boat of underperforming to the extent where there's no point in trading them. That doesn't mean I'm starting either until they get their shizz together.

Had Nolasco and Olsen going tonight. Hamels (vs. BOS) on the bench. Just can't catch a fucking break with pitching this year. Waiver pickups - Penny, Jhoulys, Olsen - shit the bed the minute I start them. Starting to be a real drag. Now just waiting for Kennedy and Ely to collapse.

I haven't pushed the panic button yet either but i basically drafted him for k's and the hopes he wouldn't get blown up (much). Could the k's be down because he and the Marlins are making an effort to have him go deeper in games? That's just a guess but it could be the case. He hasn't been getting strikeouts since his Harden-esque performance against the Nats.

i think its a possibility but if i remember correctly even late last season when Nolasco was dealing and striking out like 16 braves i think he had a start mixed in there where he gave up like 10 earnies in 3 innings at home against Arizona (i think). In other words, Nolasco's numbers will be there at the end of the season with strong WHIP and K totals but the ERA could be near 4---great starts will happen but owners will have to endure a klunker every now and then as such was the case last night at US Cellular.

True enough. I just checked the game log and you're right (mostly). Three starts previous to the 16k game he gave up 7 er in 5 innings against the Cardinals. Also notable, he didn't have a double digit strikeout game until his first start in July. He had five 10+ strikeout games from July thru September.

Last night I had Nolasco, LeBlanc, Olsen(left game after 3), Penny(left game after 3 now DL). All three accumulated for 14.1 innings with a 14.09 era, it was the worst pitching day I have ever had. I had high hopes for Nolasco this year but hes only been a disappointment. As for Penny, two bad starts in a row, now the DL. You gotta drop him right?
