Why did I ever draft Buehrle?

Postby thepizzaman » Fri May 14, 2010 7:06 pm

Buehrle is quickly becoming fantasy irrelevant. I'm still kicking myself for drafting this guy.

Drop him if there's anyone out there.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

he always goes 5 or 6 rounds ahead of where he should go. I always chuckle when he gets drafted. Chipper is the same way, a sexy name that goes way too early.

I'm not sure about Chipper. By now I think even the casual fantasy baseball owner is onto his injuries and steady decline.

I traded Stubbs and EverCab for Buerhle in the preseason. Now all are on waivers. How's that for a lousy trade all around.

I'm done with Buerhle. I just dropped him for a slice of Jeff Francis tomorrow. My team is pretty much in the toilet anyway this week, so I figured I'd see if Francis could get me a W. Who knows, with a decent Rox team behind him, maybe he can catch some lightning in a bottle.

If not, I'm fully prepared to dump the Buerhle-like lefty for Hisanori Takahashi, who it looks like will be making his first start for the Mets in place of Oli Perez at some point this week. May take a shot with Tak anyway. He's striking guys out and gets to pitch in the big park by the (Flushing) bay.
