I have Smoak but I'm not starting him until he breaks out and starts hitting for average.

Im debating dropping him for Stanton and stashing him until he get's promoted.

Who would you rather have on your team for the 2nd half of the season?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I'm going to mix it up and say Smoak.

Smoak:
Good eye and makes contact (you'd think that would translate into hits)
Playing beyond his projected power level
Likely stuck at the back end of the lineup
He's playing now

Stanton:
Will likely strike out a ton
Elite power potential
Likely gets instant middle of the lineup cred
Should be here in June

What do you need for the second half, average or power? I own both, but I'm gonna say Stanton here. I'm thinking a less consistent Heyward.

Is Stanton gonna go str8 to the majors from AA or will he have a stopover in AAA?

They've already said no AAA for Stanton. He'll be up in early June as soon as his super two eligibility expires.
