try to buy low on Justin Upton?

Postby cpomar » Sat May 01, 2010 8:53 am

or is anyone expecting him to imitate BJ's '09? His owner in my league bid Kendrick up about five times before I won at $13, was thinking of floating that offer to see if he'd take it.

JUp should be fine. Sure, make the offer. You never know when someone gets fed up with a struggling player. Just be prepared for the likely "no". Maybe offer Kendrick plus another player to make it more interesting to him.

I would not even bother. I tried and got shot down. His owners know the dealio and know May will be huge.

Now, if he slumps through mid May, try like mad to get him at a discount.

I tried & his owner wants so see how May plays out, predictably.
