Kyle Blanks

Postby SwaggerJackers » Sun Apr 25, 2010 9:25 am

Is it time to move on?

He's hitting under .200 with 2 homers (only 1 since the first game of the season). Is it time to replace him with the flavor of the week?

Replace him.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Would you dump Blanks in a keeper league? I'm a little power heavy/ AVG+SB light, and Brett Gardner just appeared on waivers. I have 11th priority out of 12, so I probably won't get him anyway.

I'm hesitant to give up on him, since I've seen so few of his PA's and last time I dumped a young player that started off slowly, he went absolutely nuts: Kendry Morales last May.

Blank's BABIP is unusually low (.276) but his contact rate is abyssmal (62.7 %)

Bad ballpark, poor surrounding cast, unproven talent. I'd feel free to move on.

I have Blanks and Reimold stashed away in one of my leagues because I have dreams about them breaking out and hitting 30 homers each, much like I have dreams of some hot Russian brunette with a deep checking account taking me away on her yacht.

I think the brunette scenario is more likely to play out.
I like sports with balls in them.
