Power for runs/speed

Postby marcheese » Wed Apr 21, 2010 12:28 pm

My team needs avg/runs/speed. Would either of these be a good move for me (judging by my league set up and team needs)? And if they are good, which ones better?

Blanks for Austin Jackson

or

Blanks for Cameron Maybin

Thanks

I like both Maybin and AJax (I do own both, yaknow!) and both have great spots in their lineup. It's a toss-up at this point but I think I'd go Maybin.

are you sure you even really need speed?
phillips, escobar (has to start taking off eventually), evcab, mclouth, rasmus should all make you at least competitive in SBs

i'd hesitate to trade blanks for either of those guys tbh

I'll take Maybin but it could go either way.

Wasn't so much the steals I was looking for; more so runs/avg. I'm not competitive enough in those 2 categories (especially if McLouth doesn't bat lead off) and I figured I needed to make a change.

Not sure I'd want to count too much on a rookie with poor plate dicipline (Ajax or maybin) to help my AVG.
