My minor league system includes players like Austin Jackson, Logan Morrison and Michael Taylor, among others that are far from reaching MLB.
Ummmm... AJax is IN the majors (batting leadoff nonetheless) and Morrison and Taylor are quite close and will see time this year at some point.
You should also be able to do MUCH better than Correia for Jones at this point. He's off to a great start and finished up strong last year. Hold out for more.
I can have AJax in the minors for the rest of the year, since he started with rookie elegibility. Rondón is a different beast because I picked him up from waivers. The reason I haven't called him up is that Podsednik is doing too well, therefore sending him to the bench, and if I call AJax up I won't be able to send him down if he slumps.
Anyway, I'm leaning towards rejecting this and proposing something along the lines of Jones plus Podsednik or someone else for Dempster plus someone else. Thoughts?
