Bruce on waivers

Postby r1goff » Tue Apr 20, 2010 6:27 am

Also, Bruce is a free agent on our league. I would have to drop Rasmus to pick him up. Is it worth it?

Rasmus is in a better lineup. I'd stay with him. He'll turn it around

Go grab Bruce. I like Rasmus as much as the next guy but Bruce can (and will) be a monster.

I'd also rather have Bruce right now.

Bruce. I tried to trade Rasmus for Bruce straight up in my 12 team H2H points league. Bad luck was that I posted the offer Saturday night and Sunday is when he hits his two bombs.

you don't have anybody on your bench worth than Rasmus? It always hurts to drop a guy with trade value for nothing. But Bruce is better than Rasmus, I think.

I have added my team to my signature. I just accepted a trade for Lester and McCutchen for Baker and Ducscherer this morning. So, I don't know that I need either Rasmus or Bruce. But, I hate to leave them both on the wire. This is obviously a very shallow league. So there are several good bats available. Most teams benches are filled with pitching and almost no hitting since pitchers are so valuable in our format. ( too valuable , IMO)

I have a hard time believing Cueto will be more valuable than Bruce, even in a pitching-centric league. And I'm a Cueto owner.
