Prospect Call Ups

Postby Deltron » Wed Apr 14, 2010 11:11 pm

It's getting close to April 19th, so I have to ask: When do you think the following are called up? I have these prospects at the top of my list.

Pedro Alvarez - How long can Pittsburgh yawn on LaRoche? Or has Pittsburgh already conceded the season before the end of the 1st month? They sit in the middle of the division, so I hope not. However, if that's the case, then I'm assuming early June for Alvarez. If not, any chance he's called up in the coming weeks? I could see him fitting in nicely in the 6-hole in the line up...although I think he'll be very streaky as a rook.

Carlos Santana - Marson, cold as ice and going to have to sacrifice his starting spot? Again, is Cleveland ready to concede in April? Or will mgmt bring in a solid bat to help the cause? Carlos is hitting well last I checked. I hear he needs to improve calling games. So June?

Michael Taylor - Crisp is just going to get re-injured and Travis Buck isn't worth a ham sandwich. Oakland is actually looking decent thus far. Taylor is hitting pretty well in the minors. Sooner than June, say mid May? Really looking forward to seeing what this guy can do in the show.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
