Ianetta / Reyes

Postby rollins1 » Thu Mar 25, 2010 6:37 am

I have 2 questions about your post today.

Ianetta
"Playing only four days a week, Iannetta might just be Napoli for the NL"
What does that mean exactly? I've read good and bad things about Napoli. Does that mean you like Ianetta? Im hoping to wait until the 21st or 22nd round to draft a catcher. Do you like Ianetta that late, or should I try for Yadier or AJ Pierzynski if they're available?

Reyes
"The time to buy low is running out"
Do you think the 26th pick or the 47th pick is the more appropriate spot to draft him? I have the 2nd pick in a 12 team league, so if I let him get past me in the 3rd I would have to hope he get's past 21 picks to make it back to me in the 4th. Is it worth passing on a guy like Zimmerman in the 3rd to secure Reyes?

Thanks.

I like Iannetta, but he's not going to get as many ABs as most number one catchers.

I'd take Zimmerman.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
