D Lee or C Pena

Postby catch_20_2 » Sat Mar 20, 2010 7:59 pm

Playing in a 6x6 league (only 6 teams) .... I have to decide between Derek Lee and Carlos Pena

I like both these guys as they are on contract year ... though both getting on a bit in terms of age.
As we are using OBP rather than AVG Pena comes into the mix a little more.
Pena concerns me with his streakiness though his power is the attraction
Lee I like more for his consistency and hint of SB ....though less power and durability.

Scoring cats are : Runs/RBI/HR/OBP/SB/GWRBI

My team currently is :
C. V Martinez
1B. M Cabrera
2B. D Pedroia
SS. Either S Drew or A. Escobar (not picked yet)
3B. A Rodriguez
OF. Holliday/A Dunn/G Sizemore
Util. D Wright

Bench : Manny Ramirez

The plan is to pick up one of these two up guys to give me some lineup flexibility.
Also tossing up between Prado / Figgins (assuming he becomes 2b elligible) for utiliy role.

Go with Pena.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
