Lineup position: Andrus

Postby Deltron » Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:45 pm

Points based, H2H league. I've found over the years that lineup position has correlated well with production. Grey, I know you're bullish on Andrus. Where will he hit in the Rangers lineup? Is it a battle between Borbon and Andrus for leadoff? If so, who do you think wins that battle? If Andrus bats 9th, I could see shortstops at the top of their lineups, such as A. Cabrera, E. Aybar, S. Drew, A. Escobar and Furcal, putting up similar or better production. Do you think that's a fair assumption?
12-teamer, H2H, points, 4 keepers.

Pitchers: +1.5 IP, +1 K, -1 BB/HBP, +5 W, -3 L, +4 S, -2 BS, +3 CG, +10 shutout
Start one player at each position + utility, 4 SPs, 2 RPs. 8 reserves.

C: Y. Molina, K. Schwarber
1B: Votto
2B: Dozier

U: Teixeira (also have Schwarber, Carpenter, Conforto & Alex Guerrero as options)

Andrus is batting 9th to start the year, as of right now. I think a guy at the top of the lineup will have better Runs.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
