Strasburg Playing Time Clearinghouse

Postby royce! » Thu Mar 04, 2010 9:41 am

Thought this might be a good thread to start because it seems to come up so often... Actually, I just wanted to share this amazing quote regarding Strasburg,

"I think it's going to come down to a philosophical decision more so than a performance decision," Riggleman said. "We anticipate that he is going to throw great. I think it's going to come down to, what is going to be best for Stephen Strasburg as an organization? I have been very impressed, and I continue to be impressed."

Steven Strasburg is an organization!

Seriously, though, Riggelman's misstatement seems to indicate that they are concerned about the organization, not Strasburg, so Strasburg might have to spend some time in the minors.

I don't doubt he'll be in the minors to start the year.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

According to this, Heyward and Strasburg will both be in the minors for 2-3 weeks. Makes total sense.
