this is perhaps old news to all other fantasy baseball lovers, but i was reading around the other day and finally realized that beckham is going to get his 2B eligibility this year with ozzie and the sox acquiring teahen for 3B...it seems, however, that i haven't seen much talk about this exciting fact, and i'm thinking this is an unbelievable opportunity to snag great value decently late at 2B...what do people think, grey already has beckham ranked 10th for third baseman, now take his projections of 85/18/63/.260/14, and that's not crazy far off from phillips (who's going 31), and similar to zobrist (who's going 59)...with beckham going around the 90th pick, this was already solid upside for a 3B...move that 90th pick to 2B, and getting beckham in the 7, 8, or 9 rounds seems like a steal that could take you a long ways...what do people think, i'm willing to reach for him a round or two earlier than his ADP to get that sleeper 2B eligibility...

Was already factored into his ranking that he would get 2nd base eligibility. He is a 18/14 threat... Be nice to see it from him first before we consider it a lock.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Is it okay to bump threads here? I don't always feel the need to start a new thread every time a thought enters my head, which would be like 3 or 5 times a day (that I have thoughts).

Is this guy worth holding on to? I want to drop him or Prado for Clay. Prado offers no homers, no RBI, no runs, no power, but he has a high average and three position eligibility, which makes him a sexy bench player for days when I have a regular not playing. Beckham has stunk, but his upside is good.

I'm not really asking for advice about my roster issues, but I'm more interested in if people think Beckham is ever going to turn it on. I feel like I have a death touch. Across my teams, I've killed the seasons of guys like Blanks, Reimold, Stubbs, Sizemore and S. Rodriguez. Beckham is right up there. I feel like I'm playing chess with Antonius Block.

I hear you. I feel that way about a lot of the same players. I have Beckham in a deep 15 team league, so obviously cutting him isn't an option. I did bench him today in favor of a hot hitting Andy LaRoche.

The season is early and that entire ChiSox lineup is struggling, so I'm not losing faith in him. While he's not hitting as many line drives as he did last season, his BB/K rates are about in line. His BABIP sits at .237 going into play today, so it's safe to say that he's been unlucky.

I don't think 15/15/75/75/.280/.330 is out of the question. Not sure if that's worth the $18 I spent on him, but it's tough market for 3B

I am in a similar boat, a deep 14 team league and I kept him from 2009. He was somewhat streaky last season. So hopefully this is simply a cold streak. Also, he may be adjusting to learning to play the field at 2B.
