longest active streak?

Postby cleaver596 » Mon Oct 05, 2009 5:44 pm

For a project at school, I need to find out the longest active streak for consecutive games. I think it's Prince Fielder. It is hard to search for this because most searches bring up Howard, Tejada, Matsui, etc... I think Fielder is at 185 games in a row. Does anyone know anything different?
I'm the Cleave, so thats what you call me. That, or um, Cleaver, or his Cleaveness, or um, El Cleaverino, if your not into the whole brevity thing.

12 team 1 PPR, 5 bonus points for 100 yard rec. and rushing, and 300 yard passing

QB - eli manning
RB - CJ, Ronnie Brown
Flex - Bradshaw
WR - Fitz, hines ward, Louis Murphy
TE - celek
Def - Texans
K - akers
bench - micheal bush, ricky williams, mcfadden, malcolm floyd, Roy Williams, Mike williams (sea)

I think you're right, but I'm not 100% sure.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thanks Grey. Yeah Fielder seems to be the general consensus. One guy tried arguing with me that Howard still had his streak going. Even though I had him on 2 different teams and I know he missed time because he was sick, this bum tried telling me different. Dumb people, I tell ya. Anyways, this might be the best assignment of all time. We have to do a 15 speech on something that happened on one of our birthdays (its myself and two guys who play baseball for the college). Ripken broke Gherig's record on my birthday, so I get to do a report on Cal Ripken Jr. with two other baseball nuts. Somehow I get credit for this. HA! The Great American Education System....... giving degrees for talking sports for over 200 years.

and since I consider you a reliable source, I'm gonna use this site in my bibliography for confirming the active game streak. I'm thinking I might be the first to cite razzball in a paper for school. Do I rule for this? Yes I do. Do I kind of feel like a loser for somehow bringing fantasy sports into a class room? Damn right I do.

That's awesome! You totally rule for that. If you can, send me a .pdf of it.
