Grey Appreciation Thread

Postby JakeB » Mon Sep 30, 2013 12:42 pm

I tried fantasy baseball for the first time 2 years ago, and knowing nothing about it drafted by going down Matthew Berry's rankings and always taking the best available player. I finished last.

This year I wanted to give it another go, and was committed to learning more so I signed up for 3 leagues. I still knew almost nothing about fantasy baseball, but I knew Matthew Berry's rankings stink. So I used Grey's rankings in all 3 leagues, taking the best available players, and using the pitcher pairing tool. In spite of getting almost no hot pick ups, and neglecting the teams once fantasy football season started in mid-August, I won 2 leagues and was tied for 2nd in the 3rd.

Grey you deserve all the credit, and I will thank you by donating 10% of my winnings as soon as yahoo sends me the money. Thanks again!

Awesome, thanks for the kind words! And congrats!

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
