Wow - it really is the year of the crazy.
I tend to spread my 'streak' picks across teams - one team has Luke Scott and Ben Francisco, one has Jose Guillen, one has Elijah Dukes and Spilborghs.
Everyone has had their moments - Jose Guillen especially - but frigin' Dukes is on fire. Had to add him to another team. After last nights 5-for-6 outing, here's his stats for me:
11-for-27, 5 R, 1 HR, 6 RBI, 4 SB
I'd pick him up in any 12 team league or a 10 team league where you've got a weak OF or UTIL.
Got to take advantage of these little streaks even if some of these guys have crazy streaks...

He's costing my man Wily Mo at-bats.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is. Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions. Is your league H2H? Roto? I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from. If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters. I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I've been picking him up partly because I've had him on my NL only team all season and have been waiting on him to get it going. He's been a great surprise. Hope he can keep it up.

I just dropped Jeff Clement for Dukes on one of my teams. Clement is still laying goose eggs since he returned from hitting 9 HR in his short demotion to AAA. Dukes is doing it all right now except knocking up foster kids.
