The overall line right now is ugly- 5.50 ERA, 1.42 WHIP.
But his peripherals looks pretty solid so far- 46 Ks, 13 BB in 55.2 IP. 7.44 K/9, 3.54 K/BB.
And if you take away his first start at Texas, when he got bombed for 9 ER, it makes the ERA a much more palatable 4.12.
I'm not expecting Pavano to ever revert to his 2004 form, but is it possible he becomes a decent FA pick up as a back end of the rotation starter?
Hard to say without knowing your league depth (you can put your team in your signature), but I wouldn't pick him up outside of matchups.
