Thoughts on when Gordon Beckham gets the call? Fields struggling... Chris Getz? At least Alexei has turned it around...

Not sure, impossible to know what Ozzie Guillen's thinking from moment to moment.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Promoted to Charlotte today. So, that is promising.

He started at third, for the third time (first game at AAA)... Looks like they're trying to give him some quick experience so they can call him up and replace the season-slumping Fields. Seems sooner rather than later I think...

I sure am glad I don't play in a 16 team league. I waste enough time just looking at guys who have already arrived at the Big Show.

From Tony Cincotta on one of the BTR podcasts. It won't be this week barring more injuries, but soon.

I may have been misinformed.... From the USA today:

Jun. 2, 2009 - 4:01 a.m. ET
Gordon Beckham turned in a second straight three-hit game as the third baseman for Triple-A Charlotte on Monday.
Beckham is 10-for-20 with three doubles since his promotion. Unfortunately, Josh Fields has gone on a hot streak at the very same time, suggesting that we probably won't see Beckham debut this week. Still, the White Sox now seem to be pretty interested in giving him an opportunity.

I'm not sure about this Fields hot streak thing either. But, also Beckham has 3 errors during this span at 3rd. Also, Ozzie is starting to internalize the media's badgering over Beckham. Didn't quite go off yesterday but teetered on it saying that if Beckham arrives the Sox are in trouble. He wants to make it work with these players and re-iterated the notion that the organization wants him to get a full year in the minors. Sorry I don't have a link to the audio. But, I'm starting to agree with Ozzie and not my internal angst over how bad the Sox are that it wouldn't be worth the pressure for him to come to the Show. But, conversely if he's ready he's ready. And, Josh Fields = bad (at everything).

Haha thanks for the update. It's probably better for the team to wait til next year, but for us fantasy-ers, today would be nice!
