Cahill is mainly useful for streams anyhow and even for that I'd prefer he K a few more folks. There are definitely better streamers available (really glad I didn't pull the trigger on Maurer last night).

Cahill, Parker and Brown are all in the crosshairs. Watched Parker last night on MLB, he was dreadful.

It is done. I decided at last to Let It Rut-dropped him, took Beachy, DL'd him and have to wait til Monday to replace due to move limit. Really doubt anyone will pick up Rut til then, but I'll get by if they do. I tip my hat to Pjd178 for that play. I had Rut from the get go last year while Waiting For Tulo, and liked him, but this sub-.300 lifetime OBP (though only 326 PA) is troubling.

Rutledge is the big weak spot on my offense right now. I just don't have enough to trade for an upgrade though. I'm sitting on a pile of middle ground 1B in Adrian Gonzales, Paul Goldschmidt and Watermelon Head Berkman. Any increase in production I would get from whatever shortstop I get for one of them would probably not make up for the loss of production that from the player I trade away.

I think you can have more patience with Rut than I did, because you don't have to contend with OBP, and to a lesser extent, Ks. At least let him have a homestand or three at Coors. Goldschmidt is a rising star at 25. Thus far he is hitting RHP, a very good sign. Plus you aren't really concerned with his Ks. If you move him, get a star back, but he is your best 1B and I would hold there.

Your team is stacked. I wouldn't worry about Rutledge, though he is less valuable in your 10 team league than he is in my 14. You should be able to deal any of the first basemen for a decent upgrade though.

I heard Rutledge was not in the starting lineup prior to postponement of 4/15 game at Coors.

He's having a good week. Showing some speed and some pop and holy crap he's even drawn a few walks!
