Catcher Hotline

Postby CheapTrout » Thu Apr 04, 2013 4:41 pm

If you booted catchers, and have suggestions, let's shock 'em all. I put Grandal onto our league's new NA Yahoo roster slot. Drafted Pacheco, replaced him with Avila, banished Avila to HOF (Hall of Figgins) and picked up Jon Buck. Will tab D'arnaud ASAP if promoted before Granda availability. Any similar stories/suggestions? Thanks in advance to all!

Tyler Flowers is having a fine week. He could have more HR's than any AL catcher this year. Grab him while hes hot.

Buck is not a long term solution but has been first week's top C, has 9 RsBI and only 2 K.

I would not drop Lucroy for any of those scubs. Think Avila and Flowers are your best options of the names mentioned.

With Lucroy's slow start, I was able to snag him out of our FA pool, and when Buck's return to form is confirmed (probably has already started), will have him ready to step in. Thanks for a nice two weeks, Mr. Buck! If Lucroy is available, I would recommend him. He was hitting around .340 when he got injured last year and is only 26 years old.
