Chisenhall or Chris Johnson?

Postby Wallpaper Paterson » Sat Mar 30, 2013 7:24 pm

I need a third baseman and I identified those as the top two on the waiver wire. Which one should I get?

I got booted from a live draft tonight due to bad cell reception. I had Kevin Youkilis auto drafted as my only 3B. I must get rid of this poison.

I like Chisenhall this year. I like the upside a lot more. The Indians are going to need Aviles as a super sub, so if Lonnie puts together a couple of months he should earn himself a full season of ABs. There are some clear signs of improvement in his SABR stats from last year. Particularly the BB/K rate, which was good for him in his minor league career but been lousy at the MLB level. When guys start walking more and striking out less it's a sign they are starting to figure out MLB pitching. I think a players manager like Tito might coax a nice year out of him.

Thanks. I added Chisenhall in a league last week. I will get him in this one too.
