First Auction draft

Postby FantasyJunkie787 » Tue Mar 12, 2013 9:16 pm

12 team 5X5 ROTO (Auction Draft) This was my first auction draft, was conservative when bidding and i think i went overboard with being to held back, i ended up with 12 bucks still waiting to be spent, maybe next time go after one of the big boys? How much should i over bid for one of the top guys? For example McCutchen when for 38, Stanton 41, longo 32. where can i get a $ value for all players?

Well I wouldn't have paid much more for those guys then what they went for. Really though I think your team is alright. Your hitting is missing a stud but it has solid players with some pretty decent upside for some of them. My biggest worry is Cozart at SS.

Only advice I can give you, is next time think about doing a couple mock auctions first. Auction is such a different way of doing things that getting a couple practice ones in first will help you know where to make adjustments.
