This has been my first trek into dynasty baseball, and I'm still pretty new to fantasy baseball altogether. After the 1st season, I quickly realized I had a middling team, and started building for the future. We keep 25, with a 12 player Minor League roster As of now this is what I have..these are my keepers and my minor league players
C Salvador Perez 1B Ike Davis 1B/OF Mark Trumbo 1B Darin Ruf 2B Aaron Hill 2B Jedd Gyorko SS Troy Tulowitski SS Josh Rutledge 3B Brett Lawrie 3B Pablo Sandoval 3B Manny Machado OF Giancarlo Stanton OF Nick Markakis OF Alejandro de Aza OF Denard Span OF Lorenzo Cain OF Will Myers P Adan Wainwright P Kris Medlen P Lance Lynn P Jarrod Parker P AJ Griffin P Felix Doubront P Shelby Miller P Greg Holland
Minor League Roster Christian Yelich OF/1B Anthony Rendon 3B Xander Bogaerts SS Trevor Story SS Jameson Taillon SP Archie Bradley SP James Paxson SP Tyrell Jenkins SP Michael Wacha SP Miles Head 1B Hunter Morris 1B Orlando Arcia 2B
Roto scoring/Standard 5X5...12 team league
I've moved some players...Myers, Gyorko... to my active roster to free some space up for some minor league additions I'm not looking to be able to, seriously, compete for another couple of years
Thoughts?

Very solid team. Only area I see that will probably be a problem is OF. Of course you realize that a decent amount of the prospects between your regular roster and your minor league roster, won't live up to the expectations that many have for them right now. So be sure to watch the WW for solid pickups and continue to make trades.
I am in a league very similar to this and I had to do what you have just done. It turned out really well for me but there was a point where I started to trade the prospects for actual major league players. You can't just keep trading for young guys because they don't all pan out. So in 2015, start turning the corner on how you keep up the team by trading prospects to help you win in stead of what you are doing now which seems to be trading for prospects.
It's like right now you are the Oakland A's or Tampa Bay but at some point you want to be the Yankees and not having to care as much about your minor league system but more concerned with winning championships.

Thanks for the response...agree with everything you said..from this season on, I will probably start looking to upgrade prospects for positions
Now if you can just pull out your crystal ball and tell me who isn't going to pan out, I would be golden
