It's a 16 team H2H league, with all Keepers and a prospect draft every July. Pretty standard scoring - Holds do count for points as well as saves.

I had pick 5 in the prospect draft (and went and got Cole, passed on Myers, felt like an idiot, but I'm a big Buccos fan and I let my fandom take over for a minute). I had pick 12 in the MLB draft and got Cargo... not my first choice, but I felt he was best that was left.

Team looks decent... Your hitting looks like money... Seems like you really punted pitching, you may only have one starter throw 200 IP this year and that's Wandy... That's not good... You also might not have more than one usable pitcher, that's Moore...

Thanks for the thoughts, Grey! Yeah.... I kept taking who I felt was the best player at each spot and ended up with more hitting than pitching. I will probably regret that.

Would it be a terrible idea to try to swing Cargo or Cespedes for some pitching since I have some OF depth? I think I'd lean towards Cargo, since I think Cespedes's value is going to climb...

Your prospects are pretty bad, too. When Bradley and Bell are your top two, you're in trouble. That's not to say they're awful (I personally LOVE Bradley), but they're not very "sexy". Rosario might be usable, but then again, he might stall.

I'd think about dealing Cargo + Anderson for an ace and very good prospect.

Hm, that's a thought. I feel like Anderson hasn't hit his top value yet, though.

Yeah, I didn't do nearly enough research on drafting prospects, but I think Singlton and Cole are pretty solid.

I'd hold for now... Dee Gordon may get a starting job somewhere and suddenly he'll have value and you might be able to trade him for pitching... Let the team ruminate for a few...

Someone is offering me (or is thinking about offering me) Bauer, Tavares, and Shields for Cargo....

I like Bauer and Tavares, but not so sure how I feel about Shields (and giving up my first rounder).

Should I take it or should hold out to see what happens with some of my offensive pieces?

Yeah... I'm not feeling too good about it either. I think I'll just keep my team as is and wait to see how the season plays out for a bit.

for next year, i'd agree. But since it's a dynasty league, Taveras alone could be the jewel. Try to go for a more established starter?
