Tavares is also who caught my eye.
Shields looks like his most established pitcher... he does have some younger guys like Cashner and Luebke (out for most of the season), Fiers, and then Peavy.

Some other guys he has that I would probably want part of the deal - Gregory Polanco & Martin Prado.

Sorry for all the questions... just tell me to shut up when you get sick of me.

But, someone just offered me Hamilton for Moore straight up. It's a legit offer. But I'm inclined to deny it for two reasons - I like the make-up of my OF already, and Moore is my best pitcher.

However, part of me wants to accept it and then try to move one of my OFers for some pitching...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

So I accepted a trade that I am now doubting. Here's how it breaks down -

I gave - Carlos Gonzalez, Matt Moore, Jackie Bradley
I got - Josh Hamilton, Matt Garza, Jurickson Profar, Byron Buxton, A.J. Cole

I feel that it's a pretty fair trade, but I haven't had much luck trying to swing Hamilton for some more SP - everyone is afraid of his age. Part of me hates that I gave up Moore and didn't do much to strengthen my pitching. However, another part of me loves that I got Profar & Buxton out of the deal while maintaining decent replacements for the two position players I gave up.

I think I'm going to just hold Hamilton for now and hope that he has a killer year... maybe try to move him later in the season when people are less concerned about his age.

Anyway, did I screw up my team? Did I do OK? Still learning here.....

You did fine... If Hamilton plays up to 2nd round-ish value and Garza does fine then the trade is decent for you... At worst, fair...

If Profar comes around as he's supposed to then the trade is great for you...

Ah, sweet. Thanks Grey... I was having a lot of second thoughts with the trade. It seems as if everyone in my league thinks that you a player is washed up once he hits 31. I'm stoked with get Profar to anchor my MI.
