Stream-o-Nater doesn't really like any of my pitchers tonight although the matchups don't look as bad as the scores seem to indicate. Latos for instance hasn't been given high scores yet has been rock solid other than a couple of starts the last couple of months. .
Latos H Phi is questionable but he's been tough to sit the last couple of months other than that forgettable start last week in STL, which actually looked pretty good until the 5th.
Marcum @MIA seems like a decent matchup since they traded away half their lineup yet Stanton has been on an absolute tear and a few other guys have been playing over their heads.
Harvey @STL is the most questionable of the three considering his short track record and the dangerous lineup the Cards bring to the table but he's won games at PHI, AZ, and CIN and has only had that one blowup in SD to blemish his stats. He's getting to the point in the season where he's probably waiver fodder due to his upcoming innings limit and his projected remaining starts looking pretty rough.
I have an innings limit that I'm slightly ahead of pace on, a slim lead in W's over the next couple of folks, and very tenuous positions where I could slide 1-2 spots in ERA or WHIP. I could go for the gusto and be rewarded with 3 W's and 20 K's or I could get shellacked X3. What are you guy's thoughts on these matchups? I've been on a pure Medlen-induced surge in my pitching and don't want to lose the ground I've gained since early season woes when Lester and early-season Latos pooped on my stats.
