One more week before the playoffs, have some decisions to make to tighten up my squad (see sig)...bottom line is 12-team, keep 20, I'll enter the playoffs in first place.

Right now I've got Griffin coming off the DL, Tulo on the horizon possibly, as well as some bats issues in general, so:

1. Bench bats: Right now I have Stubbs on the bench with Doumit and Belt, who I want for their eligibility and youth, respectively. Replace Stubbs with E-Cab, Beckham, Nelson, Mayberry or Venable for his RHP matchups? I know Stubbs' counting stats are good, but brutal to own in H2H and not a keeper for next year IMO

2. Drop Cahill, Rogers or Hudson to activate Griffin, or just drop Griffin? I'm leaning towards dropping Cahill, as he doesn't have Rogers' K potential and is less consistent than Hudson.

1. Not a keeper and you're keeping 20? I don't see how that's possible... Those waiver guys are nothing special...

2. Sure, you can lose Cahill...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thanks for the quick response, Grey!

Re: Stubbs, I just think I have 20 players I'd rather protect than him. With 10x10, SBs aren't as valuable and the categories used aren't great for freeswingers...I don't see myself ever slotting him in for Ethier or Swisher, and would even rate Doumit higher than him in the OF as a fill-in. Don't think I'd have a trade market for him in the offseason either, as he's having a pretty rough season ratio-wise and his K-rate is cuckoo.

My 20 if I had to choose today would be:
Bats: Braun, Tulo, Pujols, Kinsler, Bruce, Goldschmidt, A-Cab, A-Ram, Grandal, M. Montero, Konerko, Ethier, Belt
Arms: Hamels, Greinke, Shields, Niese, Samardzjia, Beachy, Kimbrel

And notables I'd let go would be: Utley, Doumit, Youkilis, Stubbs

I'd keep Stubbs over Grandal, Niese and Beachy who will miss at least half of next year...

I'd drop Rogers...I believe he is shut down for the season.

Ha, shit...dropped Cahill yesterday, but not losing sleep over that. Mayberry got picked up today, but will drop Rogers and roll the dice on one of those others. Thanks!
