So I am in a very tight race for 1st place

Here my strategy out let me know if it's ok

So right now because it's a keeper league I am locked into 4 points with save. The person below me has 28 saves and I have 71. The person in front of me has 80

My pitching is what is killing me. I need wins and low whip/era
My closers really don't help with this because 1 inning pitched or 1 hit or 1 er works against my team.

For the rest of the season do I bench my closers and just play starting pitchers to try and get more wins and lower my era/whip.

Or do I just keep the closer in because they help me out in some way I am not seeing

I hope this makes sense. Let me know.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Our trade deadline has passed I picked him up to try and chase the guy ahead of me in saves but I don't think I can catch him.

I'd still roll Wilhelmsen out there and look in the FA pool for RPs with good ratios to replace your closers. Pestano, Gregerson, and Cishek have been great for me this year...
