Griffin-OAK@MIN: next 2: HNYA,@TOR. Drop when today’s games lock.
Wind out 5 mph this a.m. A night game. GO.
Morales-BOS@TB: next: HCHA, @TEX, @NYA. Drop on lock.
Liriano-MINhOAK: next: HBAL, @CHA. Drop on lock.
Quintana-CHA@KC: next: @BOS, HMIN, @TEX (doesn’t seem worth a bench). Drop.(owned in my league)
No immediate Sa or Su streamers. If I see any, I will update.
This my current pitching staff:
Craig Kimbrel, Atl RP
Joaquin Benoit, Det RP
A.J. Griffin, Oak SP PP
Franklin Morales, Bos RP, SP PP
Steve Cishek, Mia RP
Luke Gregerson, SD RP
Jonathan Broxton, KC RP
Francisco Liriano, Min SP, RP PP
Wilton Lopez, Hou RP
Ryan Dempster, ChC SP
Jarrod Parker, Oak SP
Brandon League, Sea RP
With no immediate streamers to fill my drops, I will keep Dempster and Parker on my bench. I am running Parker SU@MIN, but don’t ID him as a streamer since he is 78% owned. If he is available, grab him.
I am sitting Dempster SA@AZ, but he projects good in each of his next SEVEN starts. That is subject to change as he is rumored on the trading block.
By adding TWO MRs, I will fill all of my active pitching slots for tomorrow. That actually leaves an extra bench spot to pick up whomever I want, even a hitter.
Here’s a list of MR I consider worthy to run daily. Lefty’s, especially, are routinely available since they are less likely to jump to the closer roll. Nevertheless, some return excellent Ks and periphs. No need to hold the non-closer types. As soon as one has pitched 2 innings, I drop and replace with a fresh arm—hey, just like a real manager!
HOT TIP; Sean Doolittle-OAK is .1% owned. He is a MUST own (owned in my league). He has blazing stuff, misses bats (37.2 0-Swing%), and is being groomed as future closer (even though a lefty). If trades/injuries occur, might get a few SV this year. I recently offered Dempster for him in my league and was turned down!
