You're fielding guys on your team I wouldn't want on a 15 team league... I don't know who's on your waivers, but Alonso isn't a 1st baseman, he's a corner guy... You shouldn't own two catchers... Ogando? Frieri? Stauffer? Dyson? Can't imagine this is the cream of the waivers...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

adam lind was my first baseman all season until he got demoted the other day so i picked up alonso.. im just hoping rizzo gets called up soon. also hoping to pick up matt adams tomorrow i cant do it now because im only allowed 5 moves per week and used them all... free agent wise..

top 10 ranked hitters(excluding catchers): omar infante, alcidis escobar, mitch moreland, jed lowrie, matt carpenter, kirk niewenhuis, michael saunders, denard span, vernan wells, sean rodriguez

as far as pitchers my league doesnt use sp and rp just the p for any pitcher so i cant really sort by rank so im sorting pitchers by innings pitched

jake arrieta, carl pavano, bruce chen, clayton richard, lucas harrel, kevin millwood, ivan nova, tommy hunter, mike minor, rick porcello, ja happ, jamie moyer, felix doubront, paul maholm, charlie morton

so should i add any of these guys?

as far as stauffer goes.. i waited for him to get off DL and now hes right back on it but i used my 5 players moves early in the week and cant drop him until tomorrow

also someone proposed me max schezer and derek holland for strasburg.. what do you think of that considering i only have 4 starting pitchers?

was also proposed michael bourn for bumgarner.. bourn would help my team but not sure i can do this with only 4 starters

What league are you in?

I can't believe those are your best hitting or pitching options in a 12 team league.

Sort by rank over last 30 days, not by season or by innings pitched. That tells you little.

Based on the hitters available, I'd consider:

Matt Carpenter over Alonso. Alonso is in Petco 1/2 the year and Carp will get everyday AB in a Cardinals lineup depleted by recent injuries.

Lowerie and Ian are a push to me, but Lowerie has greater versatility, hits in a batter's ball park. Heck, I'd add Omar Infante over Ian because I like that Miami lineup going forward more than the Nationals lineup.

Sean Rodriguez has been hot lately and hits in a TB lineup. Plus he has 3 position versatility. I might consider him over Ian as well.

I'm staying clear of any Padres or Mariners. Niewenhuis is meh.

As for pitching, I think Minor will rebound and he has the highest upside. The rest are crap and can't be the best options on the waiver wire.

I don't take that trade. I haven't seen the reports on Hudson but I don't like TX pitchers in that ballpark as the season wears on. You can do better.
