Can my rotation (in sig) get me to first place?
Once Fister comes back, should I drop Samardzija or Capuano?
I'm thinking about shipping off Phillips for an SP upgrade, but I know I would have to include an OF with him (based on my strength and the other teams' needs.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Looking at my team and my cats I know for sure I'll come up lame with CG and Shutouts, but I'm doing all right with Ks and Wins/Losses.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I figured the step down from Hill to Phillips would be mitigated by whoever replaced Hill at Util.

Might be the wrong mindset though. :?

No, that could work... So what SP are you gonna go after? Maybe someone around Gio, Moore?

My primary targets would be around there yeah. Haren, Bumgarner, Shields.

I think I may have been shooting too high, offering Phillips for Bumgarner or Shields. Either way, no one even wanted to counter here. Everyone seems to hate B-Phil in my league. One even flaunted his Kipnis at me and laughed while I sulked away.

Either way, Chris Young is around the corner, so now I'm trying to trade LaHair (maybe with a side of Lynn). I'm shaking the "Fox"/"Puff-Pass"/"Yummo!" tiers to see what falls on my head, but nothin' so far. My thinking is that others' valuation of LaHair might be so low that if I did find a trade, I'd end up replacing one Lynn with another, and losing the value exchange.

Based on that final thought, would it make sense to try to move proven OFs like Pence or Bruce and try to land a stronger SP? ...orrrr should I hold and try to SP-wire my way to victory?
I'm leaning toward the latter, but I keep second guessing myself. It's my second year in a keeper league and there's a lot of "contention v. investment" turmoil.

Anibal, Hamels are fine for the front two... You don't need a top starter... You've already picked up Lance Lynn, Jeff Samardzija, Chris Capuano, Doug Fister off waivers I'm assuming... Those guys haven't been bad... Maybe try for a guy like Gio with LaHair, but I don't think you need a huge arm... You can probably do fine off waivers...

The wire has been kind to me thus far. I do worry that I won't be able to compete in Complete Games and Shutouts. I know they're unpredictable, but still cause fretting.

Fister was a keeper from last year, but the other three were wire plucks per your site's suggestions. We'll see how it goes. I'm gonna man up and stream against the pitching elite wind. Thanks Grey!
