Not that I'm saying he's be good thus far, but I think there is reason to be hopeful. His FB% is a little high, as with his IFH%. His HR/FB is almost double what his career average has been. Right now, he's striking out a batter per inning, and controlling his walks rather well, which tells me that his control and stuff are not gone. Next week he has two starts against weak teams (BAL and KC). Hopefully, he can string together two good starts. There's definitely reason to be worried, but reason to be hopeful too.

The fact that Freddy Garcia is imploding worse than Hughes is also good sign, seeing as it will probably be him going to the bullpen when Pettite gets called up.

Those are favorable matchups, but I wouldn't start him in any league...

Let me do you a solid, this dudes never gina make it in ny. He's not, ever. Hed actually be decent in the pen, he's basically has 2 pitches, his fb is straight as an arrow and his curve has moderate break. He has zero confidence. Don't waste your time. Hopefully someday he gets signed by San diego then you can start him at home. He also watches a lot of cooking showsm then tweets about it like its cool. Eff this moron.
