I'm a Braves fan and I definitely wouldn't throw him out there until he had 2-3 starts to gauge how effective he is going to be first. Generally speaking, it's bad to throw a pitcher fresh off the DL into your lineup.

I'm a braves fan and I've followed the situation pretty closely. Didn't draft him this year, but everything I've heard is very positive regarding his progress towards returning to the rotation. Huddy says this is the first spring he's had in 5+ years where he wasn't hurting from some sort of lingering injury. If you can get him on the cheap, I think its worth a shot.
