I think I'd have less heartburn right now if I owned Volquez instead of Cahill! Through the first two innings he threw close to a grand total of two strikes while walking 4-5 guys... How he actually got out of the innings I have no idea!

Agree. This shit is absolutely ridiculous. Between Cahill and Chacin, I'm already starting to regret investing in that mini-tier of grey's rankings.

If it's any consolation.. When he has his release point on his pitches like he did part of the 3rd and all of the 4th inning he has looked down right filthy!

I wouldn't worry too much about a couple bad starts early, the reason Grey likes them and you drafted them is because they are high upside players at a value draft position. Plus, if you think Chacin & Cahill are bad then you should see my MadBum, Gio, Latos, Chacin, Cahill & Minor stat lines!

Haha, I have Gio, Chacin, and Cahill on both of my money league teams. I also have MadBum in one league.

Grey is says he is really worried about Chacin and is advising people to dump him for almost anyone with some upside right now. I'm going to try and be patient and give him another start.

Put me in the contingent that dropped Chacin after this outing. The guy really just doesn't look good. Also doesn't help that he'll be playing his home games in Coors.

I almost had Chacin dropped in both my leagues before he dropped his glove in the dugout the other night! That was awful! Cahill wasn't so bad except for the control problems, and I think that will come around.

I have them both. That game gave me an ulcer (and no win). Still, I feel comfortable starting Edinson this sunday at home vs. LA. Cahill will sit @Col.
