The following news about the Rangers:

The Rangers announced Saturday they've purchases the contract of left-hander Derek Holland from Triple-A Oklahoma City. To make room for Holland, the Rangers have designated right-hander Josh Rupe for assignment. "We felt Derek was the best option for our pen," Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said. "We talked in spring training about breaking camp in this role. We feel he's a strike-thrower who has the makeup to handle (big-league pressure)."

He has great minor league numbers, but has yet to even throw a pitch -- anyone know anything about him? Could he be significant at all this year?

Has tremendous stuff, but Arlington isn't the best place for pitchers. I'd wait and see unless you have a very deep league.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

He's still in the bullpen. I made a mistake on the blog. I corrected it. Sorry about that.

Holland's 3 innings out of the pen looked good last night!

Any news on when he'll actually become a starter?
