As odd as this sounds, Do any articles or rankings take this into account?

As for differential I mean difference between a top tier player's numbers and someone in the next tier by each position.

For example at 3rd base, Evan Longoria is projected to get 105/34/120 while Youk a rank 10 is only going to go 75/19/85. Giving Longoria a 30/14/35 difference.

At 2nd,Cano is projected to go 105/27/105, while Aaron Hill at 11 is projected at 75/18/80... Giving a difference of 30/9/25

At catch, Carlos Santana is projected by Grey to go 80/25/90 while Soto at 10 is projected to go 60/18/75...giving a difference of 20/7/15...

This shows that is more preferable to pick a high end 3rd basemen such as Longoria or Bautista then it would to pick a high end 2nd basemen like Cano or Pedroia and ignore high end catchers like Santana or McCann....because the drop off is greatest at 3rd,then 2nd, then Catcher...etc.

This is why I say draft a top tier 1st, 2nd and 3rd baseman and punt catcher and shortstop... Tier differences are taken into account.
