Mock draft for upcoming yearly friends league. Y! 12 team weekly H2H 5x5. Fairly shallow. No CI/MI, 3OF, 1UT. No weekly innings limit, but steaming is against the rules. I usually keep 1 bench hitter and load up on extra SPs with bench spots.

Couple notes where I would welcome opinions:
*At Pick 1-9 I had Votto or Longoria. I took the guarnteed money and figured I could pick up a good 3B in late rd 3 early rd 4(Wright/Beltre/Zimm/Sandoval), if I take 3B in Rd 1 I can't find 1B value till Berkman/Swisher/Butler/Reynolds/Morales.
*2nd round was b/n J Upton and Han-Ram. I couldn't sacrifice the value of Upton for a bounce back SS even if I hate that position this year.
*I have found rounds 4 & 7 to be interchangable with my list of 2B/OF that I prefer at that point in the draft. I waffled b/n Uggla and Holliday at pick 4-40 but ended up with Uggla/Heyward instead of Holliday/Utley or Holliday/Cuddyer, meh, I'm still not sure about that one. FYI, Bruce went the pick before mine.
*I never plan to draft a C this high, but I couldn't pass on Santana at 64 since I lurve catchers that get everyday ABs. If not him then the J Montero pick in the 15th would have been my catcher in a real draft.

Team looks solid, makes no sense to draft two catchers in a one catcher league. You don't need Kendrys on this team. You have too much pitching, though it didn't hurt your hitting in this draft.

Everyone, don't be all scurred to comment because the great threadkilla has already put in his 2 cents. I know he speaks from the mount of wisdom, but I welcome all input. Grey, thanks for taking the time to comment.
I am still curious about others thoughts on Longoria/Votto 1st rd dilemma.
Don't forget my 4th vs 6/7th round 2B/OF dilemma. If you had to pair them up what do you take 4th/6th?
4th - Uggla or Hamilton/Holliday
6th- Berkman/Upton/Heyward or Utley/Cuddyer/Kendrick

As for longo, hope to get a 2nd round 1b or be comfortable with a later 1b. I am usually not. Is rather have votto and an ARod or aramis or even pay for wright, beltre, or zim. Then longo with Hosmer or Michael young or w/e. But that is personal preference too.
