Mike Napoli value increase?

Postby dingers » Tue Apr 21, 2009 8:36 am

Anyone else think Napoli's value gets a pretty big boost with Vlad out for a month??
this should give him a lot more plate appearances (DH on non catch days) no?

I think there's a good chance of that, yeah. Great point!

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I'm assuming I should attempt a Gerald Laird trade for Mike Napoli? The guy who has Napoli is a huge Tigers fan... Worth a shot? Laird has been pretty solid so far this season.

personally, i would rather have Napoli over Laird 4 sure.... he is a great hitter,... <but only 26 at bats so far  >...i just dont see how anaheim can get away with him not at the plate, especially minus vlad....he is easily their best deep threat....

If you can get Napoli for Laird, I would do it.

Sweet, just went through (Napoli for Laird). I convinced him by telling him that Laird will help him on AVG and R which he needs - hah.

you.... LIAR!!!! (Jim Carrey, "Liar, Liar")

Napoli >>>> Laird.

ok, just >>

I think Nap's bat and Mathis' lack thereof is going to FORCE him into the everyday C. It just is getting insane right now. I mean Mathis might be the best athlete on the team, according to Sociscia, the hardest name to spell on the planet, but Nap's bat is insane.
