RazzMock #1

Postby GopherDay » Tue Nov 29, 2011 7:21 pm

Grey et al, I wanted to get any input on the current slow mock draft going on. If you want to check in on it to see where people are going, you can check it out at http://www.couchmanagers.com/mock_draft ... tnum=18936

Here are the current draft results, I will update periodically. Anyone's input on which team is doing the best will be greatly appreciated!!!

Wow, Grandy in the 1st round? That seems like crazy talk. A lot of pitchers early too. Konerko, Hosmer and Strasburg look really early too...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

MI
CI
OF

Then 7 Generic pitching positions and a lot of benches.

By the way, what do you think about Hanley at the end of round 1?

Would've preferred Tex then Hanley in Tex's spot, but made no difference for your team...

Too early for me: Hanley, Asdrubal, Heyward (WAY too early), Hosmer
Might have waited for: Stanton, Strasburg
Bargains: King Felix, Kinsler, McCutcheon

Updates...
Thoughts? I'm just kind of winging it, if this were a real draft I'd probably do things a little different. My team is really going to struggle in the OF.

Not a bad winging it... Gardner's early and unnecessary with Upton. Carp's kinda blech and Marcum might be a little early. Also, with Johnson your staff is injury prone. Ew.

I agree, I like Jintman too. Napoli seems like a reach, but with 2 catchers having to be picked maybe not. I don't like McCann picked that high, though.

I think I like the JeffFromTallehassee (although AVG could be a concern) and chata (although I hate the Bonifacio pick) teams best so far, myself.
