The splits show that both Mike Jacobs and Jason Giambi mash RH pitching. what should I expect from a Jacobs/Giambi platoon? '08 splits for jacobs and giambi listed below:
mike jacobs AB R H HR RBI BB AVG OBP SLG OPS vs. Left 119 13 26 7 23 5 0.218 0.248 0.429 0.677 vs. Right 358 54 92 25 70 31 0.257 0.315 0.542 0.857 jason giambi AB R H HR RBI BB AVG OBP SLG OPS vs. Left 130 18 30 8 27 18 0.231 0.373 0.469 0.842 vs. Right 328 50 83 24 69 58 0.253 0.374 0.515 0.889
platoon AB R H HR RBI BB AVG OBP combined 530 79 134 37 107 67 0.252 0.378
Is this a pipe dream? I know that I will have to stay on top of the platoon and make alot of roster changes, and my figures do account both will face some LH pitching. If this is acheivable then I have Dunn like production from a couple of late pick/waiver wire pick ups.
Whats you thougths guys.
