Huh? Is this to protect Pujols from taking any pitches?

Tony LaRussa: Genius or SUPERGENIUS? You decide.

Breaking news:

LARUSSA TO BAT PITCHER CLEANUP

"This will give us another leadoff hitter in the 5 hole", explained LaRussa, who went on to say that it would further confuse the opposing pitcher. "If we can make him feel like we bat around twice every half inning, he'll lose a lot of confidence, especially if we're facing the Cubs."

He'd be a supergenius if he'd bat another pitcher in the 8 spot, giving him a leadoff hitter in the 9 hole as well. That's 3 leadoff hitters! Count 'em - 3!!!!!!

You'd laugh and make fun of a guy that changes his teams lineup almost everyday, but just think....TLR has 1,141 wins and 963 losses in his managerial career. He also is the only manager to have a world series title in the AL and the NL.

I was at the game...I saw Khalil bat cleanup...it was out game until Motte blew it.

You have to give the guy credit where credit is due.
